How To Make Hario V60 Coffee
Ingredients:
- 17 g bean coffee for one person.
- Purifier or bottled water.
- One Hario V60-2 Cup.
- One electric kettle or goose neck kettle.
- 1 teaspoon.
- Digital or analog scale
- Stopwatch.
- One mug or glass serving bowl.
Preparation:
- Boil half a liter of water.
- Place the paper filter suitable for Hario V60-2 cup in the brewing section by folding the thick edge in half.
- Place the brewing chamber and the mug (glass serving bowl) on the scale and tare.
- Rinse the paper filter with approximately 200 g of hot water. Then pour the water accumulated in the mug or serving bowl.
- For one person, grind 17 g of coffee in the thickness of filter coffee. Pour the ground coffee into the paper filter in the brewing chamber and let it sit perfectly without touching your hand.
- Tare the scale again. For 17 g of coffee, start pouring 180 ml of hot water (make sure the water is not boiling) directly from the electric or goose neck kettle, if any, on the coffee, starting from the middle and outwardly in circular motions, without getting any water between the coffee and the paper. First, pour 80 ml of water and wait for the aromas in the coffee to be released for 30 seconds.
- Then continue pouring the remaining water in slow and circular motions. Make sure that the coffee is fully mixed with the water by pouring water on the edges close to the end of the brewing time.
- Aim for 1.5 to 2 minutes of brewing time for one person.
